All Buy 357 Brass Magnum, taken indoors and stored, is tumble cleaned and completely sorted to remove any nickel-plated brass. As we have noted on other product pages regarding our brass, this material is processed three times mechanically and two times manually to eliminate damage, life, or foreign gauges. The key component of our sorting process when it comes to special 38 magnums, Starline 357 magnum brass, Glock 36 or 357 magnums is having an in-house machine that sorts by height.

The accuracy of our 357 magnum brass grading is exceptional due to the fact that we can grade not only by case diameter but also by height. We tumble dry this material for a nice shine, and as with all of our brass, we add 2% to the total order weight to ensure you get your money’s worth. Head stamps in this brass include but are not limited to Remington, Speer, Federal, Winchester and Starline. You can purchase this brass with complete confidence in the overall quality, grading accuracy, and cleanliness.

More About the 357 Magnum Brass:

Hornady produces 357 Brass and 357 magnum Starline brass with the same precision, attention to point and focus on perfection that has made them the world leader in bullets. They measure their brass to determine consistent wall concentricity, test pressure calibration to ensure consistent case expansion, and manually inspect each piece.

This dedication to quality ensures proper bullet seating in both the case and chamber and consistent loads and pressures. The result is optimal speed and repeatable accuracy of your cartridges. New brass without primer. It is not loaded with ammo.

357 Magnum Once Fired Brass Preparation: With bulk rifle brass and Starline brass 357 magnum, you may sometimes notice that, in some cases, muzzles are “out of shape” or slightly dented below the shoulder. These imperfections occur in the final washing operation after the case mouth has been annealed. Brass manufacturers are aware of the cosmetic case and have worked to mitigate it, but due to the design of the equipment, dents can still occur. Minor dents are usually removed on the first firing and will not affect the life or performance of the case. On unplated brass, you may also notice that not all annealing stains may be removed, which can give the case neck a pinkish color. For some smaller caliber cases, the case mouths have a bit of a bell.

With new rifle brass, you must first straighten the shell and shell mouth, then chamfer and deburr the shell mouth inside and out. To straighten the case mouth, run the case halfway through the measuring die and let the expander ball straighten the brass. To prevent the case neck from extending, be sure to lubricate it inside the case mouth. They are made in the United States of America.
